My Life doesn't have time for the internet's pull.

Two of my favorite people in the world recently got married. They specifically requested that people "stick to the registry," because they basically had everything they needed to build their life together already. This was NOT in the registry. However, when I went with Jordan (the groom and now married man) to the house he and his beautiful wife Ali now live in, I noticed hooks on the porch from whoever had lived there before them. Clearly the hooks were there for a porch swing to hang from.
A few months after deciding that a porch swing would make an okay gift, i went to an auction in Gap (Amish country). I sat for 6 hours straight without going pee, without eating, freezing my ass off to make sure i didn't miss it when it came up. What i would've done if someone had outbid me after all that is beyond anyone's ability to imagine. Shit would have gone down, that's all i know. Anyway, a few days before their wedding i wanted to make sure they would like the gift. While i was positive Ali would adore it, i also felt Jordan wouldn't give two shits about it. So, i took the time to carve their wedding date into the back and i wood burned their wedding invitation illustration and their cake topper caricatures into the top. Don't be deceived though, this was the first time i ever carved ANYTHING, and I didn't even know wood burned art was a thing. So here it is....
